ASICS Tokyo 2020
For the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympic Games, ASICS tasked Ogilvy Social.Lab to create a new and exciting visual identity and campaign for their latest innovative footwear range which conveys their heritage, reinforces their brand beliefs and showcases their innovation in sports footwear and apparel.

Although the 2020 Olympic Games were postponed, the launch of the products still went ahead from ASICS. We created a visual identity which utilised the unique textures of the soles of each shoe, playful headline typography, numerous references to Japanese culture and heritage and photography across numerous visuals; either led by sport or by athlete.

This visual identity was rolled out internationally by ASICS—both online and in-store—including a number of films—created by Superlarge—utilising our visual identity elements.
